Arnold Hubbard selected 'Pictures in the Bazaar' by Gerry Adcock of Ryton CC
as the Best Print of those three
Our individual prints scored the following points. Its a new Dawn by Jim Wicks- 28 points Light Music by Paul Watson - 23 points Dawning by Martin Ellis - 23 points Woosh by Paul Watson - 25 points Wyrd Sisters (Ladies at Lunch ) by Richard Watson - 28 Points Cul de Sac (The Castle) by Paul Watson 24 Points
was a very close run competition, in fact after the 4th round Whickham
were in the lead but their last 2 prints only scored 20 & 23 points.
After the 5th round Winlaton were lying in 2nd place only 2 points
behind South Shields but with South Shields and Hexham both scoring 28
points for their last prints and Whickham and Winlaton not scoring as
well, we dropped positions. However it was a vast improvement on last years STA print competition - and is the second third place this season after also coming third in the STA PDI also coming behind Hexham in second place! Now the challenge is to build on this excellent results and win next years competitions.
