On Tuesday we held our annual Presentation Night. we found out who had won the Trophies.
I'd like to thank everyone who turned up and helped make the night a success.
Mandy Hedley and Phil Cummings were there to collect their awards for winning The Peter Driver Memorial Shield (Mandy) & The Bill Cook Cup (Phil). Richard Watson won the Chairmans Cup & Joe Laws was successful with : The Best of the Best / The John Oliver Cup / The John Richmond Cup and Photographer of the Year. Unfortualty niether Richard or Joe could make it along to collect their respective awards.
We were entertained with a presentation of our winning images from the season and a show-reel Blaydon Regeneration from John Oliver. Dave gave us what must be one of the most difficult quizzes we had - no will forget that Monopoly board!
Well done and congratulations to all the Trophy winners. And a massive that has to go to Dave Hudspith who put together the Winning Image presentation and as already mentioned a diabolical quiz but mainly for the two hours he spent putting all the equipment out and setting the scene, he also organized all the Trophies. Shawn also deserves a mention for the Presentation mugs.
