Garry Brannigan is one of the country's most popular instructors in the art of landscape photography and he runs courses and workshops in many of the locations highlighted in the exhibition.
Based in Richmond, photographer Garry 's exhibition at The Station in Richmond, North Yorkshire that celebrates the natural beauty of Northern Britain's upland landscape.
"River To Ridge" has 30 new photographs made in the Yorkshire Dales, County Durham, The Lake District, The Peak District, Isle of Skye, Torridon and Inverpolly in the North West Highlands of Scotland.
Many of the photographs were created on overcast days with the intention of showing how diffused and even light accentuates the vibrant colour palette found in our upland landscapes. In addition, a small number were made in gentle rain which has added to the intensity of colour.
The exhibition runs from January 2nd until January 23rd and is open daily from 9am to 11pm.
