Great fun was had at this years Christmas social night - Dave supplied a most entertaining quiz with two teams tying with 32 points - Brigitte & John Winship and Shawn & Paul - Shawn and Paul winning out. We had an interesting AV, put together by Dave featuring a collection of around 100 previously unseen images supplied by club members.

Yes last night we welcomed Lional Bryan to WCC for the first time. He presented his views and winning selection from our entry of 41 images. This Tuesday / Tomorrow - sorry bit late in making this post.
First Competition of the season - PDI (Projected Digital Image) No1 and our judge making his selection is Lionel Bryan - I think he'll have his work cut out with over 40 images from 9 members - looking forward to this the first one of the season is always the most interesting and sets the standard for the next two . . .
On Tuesday night all members names went into the hat for team and judge selection for this season Five a Side. The listings and rules are all available to see HERE.

Yes Autumn arrived at WCC when Pat and Alan Porrett presented their illuminating talk 'Impressions of Autumn (Canada). There was some lovely images to be seen - for me the Old Cars in autumn colour's Rust with Falling maple leaves was the highlight. As Alan explained most of the images were made in the garden and surrounding land on Freeman Pattersons' estate in New Brunswick. For those of us who don't know the work of Freeman take a look at his website
